Looking for something easy and delicious to make for dinner tonight? Check out this amazing Easy Air fryer Chicken Bleu recipe. This dish is so easy to make you will have your family coming back for seconds.

What is Chicken Cordon Bleu? Where did it come from?

Chicken Cordon Bleu is a chicken dish consisting of a chicken breast with cheese and ham. The name “Cordon bleu” is said to mean “blue ribbon,” and it originated in Switzerland, where the wives of ambassadors served this dish.

Who invented it?

Henri Charpentier created Chicken Cordon Bleu in America in 1966 while working at the renowned Caesar’s Palace restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada. He later moved to Los Angeles and opened his own restaurant called Henri’s (which still exists today).

What can I serve with Chicken Cordon Bleu?

You can serve your cordon bleu with vegetables such as broccoli or green beans for a complete meal. You could also make mashed potatoes or rice if you like. The family likes it with rice!

What can I use in place of swiss cheese?

If you have a dairy allergy, you can substitute the Swiss cheese with your favorite vegan cheese. If you don’t have an issue with dairy but are just looking to save some calories, any other kind of low-fat cheese would work equally well.

How long will it take to prepare?

If the chicken is pre-prepared in any way, this recipe takes about 20 minutes from start to finish. We recommend marinating the chicken overnight if possible for optimal tenderness and flavor.
