Ingredients Needed
- Premade pie crust – This will serve as the base of the quiche and provide a tasty, flaky crust. Flaky pie crust is the best or you can use a homemade crust.
- Pre-cooked breakfast sausage – The sausage will be the main source of protein for this dish. Make sure to crumble it into small pieces for even distribution throughout the quiche. Feel free to use spicy sausage or you could try impossible sausage!
- Shredded cheese – Cheese adds a rich and creamy flavor to the quiche. Use your favorite variety, such as cheddar or pepper jack.
- White onions – The onion will provide a sweet and slightly tangy flavor to balance out the richness of the other ingredients.
- Eggs – The eggs will act as a binder for the quiche, holding all of the ingredients together in a delicious and cohesive dish. You can use large eggs or an egg mixture for eggs!
- Salt – These seasonings will enhance the overall flavor of the quiche and bring out the individual notes of each ingredient.
Optional additions: Sharp cheddar cheese or use a different cheese, green onion, sour cream, green bell pepper, black pepper, fresh spinach, olive oil.
