I love to make fun food for Valentine’s Day! Right now for my kids I’m doing a Heart Breakfast of French Toast, Pancakes and Kid Friendly Air Fryer Heart Shaped Pop Tarts for breakfast.
My boys are obsessed with pop tarts so these were definitely on their list!!
This is such an easy recipe that you can even let the kids help out with! They’ll use the heart-shaped cookie cutter and they’ll be able to choose their favorite toppings and sprinkle them on top before they bake!
We use festive Valentine’s Day sprinkles, because it’s so much better and sweeter with them!
These are so fun and the ingredients list is pretty simple:
- Pre-Made Pie Crust
- 1 Egg
- Cherry Pie Filling
- Vanilla Frosting
- Valentine’s Sprinkles
You won’t be able to get enough!
Heart Shaped Air Fryer Pop Tarts
We have the heart shaped cookie cutter just for this! If you don’t have one, any shape will work. I think star shapes would be fun too.
You can use whatever filled you would like, apple, blueberry, strawberries, for this recipe I used cherry filling.
Where do you serve these awesome Heart Shaped Air Fryer Pop Tarts? Your kids Valentine Party, a birthday party, snack time….or when your husband gets home from work! I’m sure they will come running for one of these.
You can add a candy heart to the top or add sprinkles before baking them in the Air Fryer Pop Tarts .

Easy Heart Shaped Breakfast Air Fryer Pop Tarts
These super easy Valentine's Day PopTarts are super easy to make in the air fryer!
Ingredients
- Pre-Made Pie Crust
- 1 Egg
- Cherry Pie Filling
- Vanilla Frosting
- Valentine’s Sprinkles
Instructions
- Pre-heat air fryer to 375 degrees.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut out hearts with a cookie cutter.
- Place a teaspoon of cherry pie filling on every other heart.
- Place a heart on top of the cherry topped hearts & press edges together with a fork.
- Lightly coat each heart with egg.
- Place in air fryer for 5-8 minutes on 375. These fry really quick so keep an eye on them!
- Remove from air fryer and smother in frosting
- Sprinkle away.
- Serve & enjoy!
