Tis the season of all things baked, and what better way to kick off your holiday baking than with these hand pies. For those not familiar with hand pies, they are basically pies that you hold in your hands. They are usually round, but can be square or triangles as well.

These fun pies are shaped like a Christmas Tree for the holidays. The dough is easy to work with and can be made ahead of time. The filling can be whatever fruity treat you want it to be!

These are so fun to make to make with kids! They can help you throughout the process of baking, from cutting out the Christmas tree shapes to adding the fruit filling. They are a fun tasty treat that kids love!

What ingredients do you need for these awesome Air Fryer Christmas Tree Hand Pies?

  • Pre-Made Pie Crust
  • 1 Egg
  • Cherry Pie Filling

Three super simple ingredients! You can grab your Christmas Tree cookie cutter and make these easy treats.

Instructions:

1. Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F.

2. Cut out the Christmas tree shapes from the pre-made pie crust with a cookie cutter.

3. Beat together one egg and brush it over each of the Christmas trees.

4. Fill each of the trees with cherry pie filling (it’s just that simple!)

Easy Air Fryer Christmas Tree Hand Pies

These fun cherry filled hand pies and so easy and fun to make with kids on Christmas Morning!

Ingredients

  • Pre-Made Pie Crust
  • 1 Egg
  • Cherry Pie Filling

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat air fryer to 375 degrees.
  2. Roll out the pie crust and cut out Christmas Trees with a cookie cutter. 
  3. Place a teaspoon of cherry pie filling on every other Christmas Tree.
  4. Place a Christmas tree on top of the cherry topped Christmas trees & press edges together with a fork.
  5. Lightly coat each Christmas Tree with egg.
  6. Place in air fryer for 5-8 minutes on 375. These fry really quick so keep an eye on them! 
  7. Remove from air fryer.
  8. Serve & enjoy!
